About Me...

I am trying to follow Jesus and learning that it might mean doing non-glamorous things like growing lettuce with your neighbors and being thankful for pain. I am a wife, daughter, and sister learning to love and a new mama learning to lay down my life and just.trust. I've been a 6th grade English teacher to the most amazing kids (from all over the world) for the past two years. Now I'm at home with a sweet baby girl whom I have the privilege of teaching with each gesture, word, and touch. I started this blog as a way to share our life as it unfolds, our life as we know it...

I enjoy being a part of our neighborhood, reading and writing poetry, gardening, and extending hospitality since all of us "wretched of the earth have God's salvation hospitality extended to [us] (Luke 7:23, MSG).
